The Round Wild Meadow Necklace captures spreading groundsmoke just before its delicate flowers opened. The plant was pressed into clay and transformed through lost wax casting into a handmade metal fossil, preserving its slender stems, tiny leaves and unopened buds in intricate detail.

Oxidation settles into the recessed impressions, bringing the texture to life against the silver surface. Gold prongs curl gently around the edges like flower petals closing in on themselves after the sun goes down while a gold bail adds sunlit warmth. 

Framed within the simple round form, this easily overlooked plant becomes something worthy of a closer look — a celebration of the extraordinary details hiding within the ordinary and a wearable reminder to savor nature’s subtle beauty.
